How do I exclude items from my Yahoo! Store search?

Today we received another great question from one of our clients. But, many ask, why would I want to exclude something from my search results? For example, let's pretend that you are using your Yahoo! Store for both a storefront and a website. Perhaps you only wanted the search box to display items that are for sale. You would then want to "exclude" any pages from your search that are not products.

As brevity is the soul of wit... I will get right down to it.

1) Enter your store editor or catalog and find the page to be removed
2) Edit the page and enter <!--nosearch--> into the caption field.
3) Publish your store

This will tell the Yahoo! Store search function to ignore this page when displaying search results.
