Segment customers on your Yahoo! Store

Problem: You've sold $1500 worth of product X. Cost of goods on those sales is $750 (excluding shipping to you from the vendor). You've spent $550 on your Google Adwords marketing. Your profit is less than $200 for all of the hard work you've done turning those products over.

Solution: While good marketers will tell you that even though the profit is low now, you're earning marketshare and gaining loyal customers. This is all true. But what if you're a small company that can't wait for the future and you need to see more revenue generated from your existing leads?

The answer? Targeted landing pages that both show/sell product, as well as get your customers to join a product specific newsletter. Your customers most likely already love Product X, that's why they searched for it. Now, we have to get them to think of you as their sole supplier. By creating a Product X only newsletter database, these customers are more likely to sign up.

If this works, you will see a decrease in your cost per acquisition, an increase in overall Product X sales, and the development of a valuable database.
